PROS
CONS
6.5
Style of the Realme Techlife QLED TV
Looks:
The Realme Techlife QLED TV has excellent looks. You will notice a thin-bezel design with the Total Sonics branding on the right side and the Realme Techlife branding at the bottom.
Body:
The TV’s entire body is composed of plastic, but how high quality is that plastic? No, we are unable to state so because there is an issue with the plastic’s relative cheapness compared to other TVs in the same price range.
Stands:
The TV comes with two sturdy stands that provide good support and stability. They are easy to install and do not wobble when the TV is placed on them.
Remote Control:
The TV comes with a remote control that has hotkeys and a button for the Google voice assistant, making it easy to navigate through channels and apps with just the touch of a button.
Wall Mount:
The TV is also compatible with a wall mount, allowing for easy installation and a sleek, space-saving setup in any room. This option provides flexibility for those looking to maximise their viewing experience. And in the box, you will only get table mount stands.
“Note: If you want to wall mount it, you will have to pay an extra ₹500 to the installation team.”

2. Panel Included of the Realme Techlife QLED TV
In the Realme Techlife QLED TV provides a high-quality panel that offers vibrant colours and sharp contrast for an immersive viewing experience. Let’s get into the details of the panel technology used in this TV
Type of the Panel:
It’s something you need to remember that you will receive an 8-bit FRC IPS D-LED panel with the Realme Techlife QLED TV.
Brightness:
The maximum HDR brightness is 400 nits, but the tests we conducted showed that it was only 370 nits. It is not at all unpleasant. A brightness of 370 nits is not poor or less wherever you want. However, you should be aware that this is a 60Hz panel and that VRR or any other kind of MEMC technology are not included.
3. Contrast of Realme Techlife QLED TV
There is another aspect of the Realme Techlife QLED TV is contrast, let get into the specific of it.
Contrast Ratios:
The achieved contrast ratio of 1200:1 is commendable as it is reasonable and aligns with our expectations of an IPS panel.
Blacks:
You can expect that you will see a little medium black in it, but is there any technology in this TV that enhances the contrast? Yes, there is. But does it enhance? No, not at all. You will see blacks as dark greys, and you won’t see much variety in blacks. You can see on the camera that you are seeing very good blacks, but in real life, when you see with your naked eye, you will see blacks as dark greys. And this is a problem with the contrast enhancer feature, which is present in this TV but does not work very effectively.
Grey Uniformity:
The same observation applied to grey uniformity. We were able to observe very few homogenous greys. Even though we may compare this TV to other TVs and are aware of its price range, Grey Uniformity is not present at the level we would expect.
4. Colours and Saturations of Realme Techlife TV
Let’s get into the colours and saturations of the Realme Techlife QLED TV.
Colour Gamut:
Additionally, the colour gamut of Realme Techlife QLED TV is 100% sRGB and 92% DCI-P3. Now, we were simply surprised to witness this.
However, the colours red and blue in this spectrum are overdone. If you examine it closely, you will notice this.
Depth:
When it comes to the depth of the Realme Techlife Cinesonic QLED TV, the depth is not as impressive as one would hope.
The lack of depth in the picture quality may leave viewers feeling underwhelmed, especially when compared to other TVs on the market with better depth capabilities
Colour Saturation:
Red and blue oversaturation is acceptable as well, but in our opinion, these colours have been badly optimised. Not everything is as it seems in theory. Optimising colour is a creative process. You can observe how much red is oversaturated in this colour gamut, despite the fact that you are displaying a 92% DCI P3 ratio. Because of this, the excessive amount of red that you will see on this TV will upset you once you check the picture quality.
“Note: These colours, in my opinion, are very pixelated, and the picture quality captures their full impact. There will be a great deal of colour oversaturation rather than diversity, and this is not advantageous.”
5. Picture Quality of Realme Techlife QLED TV
While reviewing the realme qled TV review, we came across the picture quality being described as lacking depth. Let’s get into the specifics of it.
Dynamic Range:
The Realme Techlife QLED TV has mediocre picture quality, even if its paper specs indicate that it has good brightness and a good colour range. Is this because there will be a wide dynamic range available? No. due to a lacklustre optimisation of the colours.
“Note: Every bright scene, even the highest quality ones, will have a lot of banding and appear pixelated in colour.”
Motion Blur:
To put it another way, when you watch a scene that uses HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision and it’s very bright, then you will definitely see the banding.
“Note: Since this TV lacks any sort of MEMC technology, you will be able to see motion blur in fast action scenes.”
Viewing Angles:
It also has poor viewing angles, so you may expect a 25–30% reduction in brightness and colour while looking at extreme angles. In general, we don’t anticipate an IPS panel to lose this much brightness and colour because, despite having an excellent contrast ratio.
“Note: It doesn’t provide a good contrast enhancer. Consequently, this panel will exhibit a greater loss of colour and brightness.”
6. Software & Hardware of Realme Techlife QLED TV
The software and hardware on this TV are not the most advanced, so you may experience slower processing speeds and limited app compatibility.
Operating System:
The operating system may not be as user-friendly or up-to-date as other models on the market, potentially leading to a less seamless user experience overall.
“Note: Additionally, the lack of software updates could result in security vulnerabilities over time.”
Connectivity Inputs:
In terms of connectivity, this TV has three HDMI ports, one of which is an ARC port. The 2.1 eARC port is absent. This is regrettable once more because, in 2024, a 2.1 eARC port is now a requirement for any TV.
“Note: Unfortunately, this TV does not support auto low latency mode because the 2.1 eARC port is unavailable. But you will have access to every connectivity choice. You will have dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity in addition to two USB 2.0 connections.”
7. SDR of Realme Techlife QLED TV
Realme Techlife QLED TV is good in terms of SDR content. In the upscaling department, whether it is SD channels or news channels, there will be no problem with that. This TV will upscale it properly and show that content on the TV screen and HD channels will be great.
STB and Upscaling:
So, there is no problem in that department. And if you are interested in watching set-top-box content from this TV, and particularly you watch the serials of Saas Bahu, i.e., daily soaps, then this is one of the best TVs that you can buy, and its price is also very low.
The upscaling of the Realme Techlife QLED TV is top-notch, ensuring that all types of content are displayed in high quality.
Additionally, the STB capabilities make it easy to enjoy your favorite shows without any issues.
8. Gaming of Realme Techlife QLED TV
Gaming Feature:
In terms of gaming, the Realme Techlife QLED TV is devoid of any gaming capabilities. Regarding the TV’s connectivity choices, 7. You do not receive auto-low latency unlocked if you connect your game console to it. How will the games be then? There is none, to be honest. Thus, this TV is severely lacking in the gaming area.
9. Sound of the Realme Techlife QLED TV
We think that this audio quality is ideal for watching regular films or television shows. You won’t need to utilise an external soundbar merely to improve the audio; but, you won’t find better films than mine, therefore you’ll have to watch my videos for cinematic purposes. Based on these metrics, we assign the Realme Techlife QLED TV an average rating of 6.4 or 6.5. Out of all the TVs we have rated so far, this one has the lowest rating. Do we like to award the lowest score? Not at all. However, if you spend your hard-earned money on any product, it’s crucial to give a fair review so that others may make wise choices.
Supported Formats:
The 40W downfiring speakers on the Realme Techlife QLED TV are compatible with both Dolby Digital and Dolby Atmos. Now, listen to this first. The speakers have a decent output, and considering that they are 40W, we believe they are well-suited to provide you with clear audio.
Therefore, you won’t experience any difficulties hearing the dialogue, but they are not of cinematic audio quality, and I am not expecting that either.
