The new LG Pose TV (LX1) deviates from the primary and conventional rectangular appearance of most recent smart TVs with a design that demands attention. The LG OLED Objet Collection, including the lifestyle TV and the easel, will be unveiled during this year’s Milan Design Week.
The LG Pose TV is not a TV that can be pulled into one side of the room; instead, it has leg stands reminiscent of Samsung’s The Serif. It is intended to serve as the focal point of the space where it is located, much like an artwork.

Looks: LG Pose TV
Design
It has a distinctive shelf that resembles a pouch on the back and is wrapped in Kvadrat fabric, which gives it a high-end vibe. This is likely intended for dust storage, periodicals, Albums, and anything else.
The LG POSE TV has a calming, muted beige color that contrasts with its attention-grabbing design, which is best left in the center of the room so it can be seen from all sides.
Stands
The leg stands of LG POSE TV are made of metal and act as a covert cable management system, providing a place for messy cables to hide and languish.
The LG Pose TV’s 55-inch footprint is 1225x1257x495 with stands.
Build Quality
What you won’t see if you peek behind your TV is a jumble of cords and gadgets. Everything is kept organized by the Cable & Accessory Organizer, which is hidden below the Clean Cover for a clear view. To complete your tidy interior, two detachable cable holders allow you to conceal the cords running along Posé’s legs.
Connectivity Options: LG POSE TV
LG LX1 POSE OLED TV 55 Inch has a variety of inputs and outputs to accommodate various devices such as Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, streaming devices, and soundbars. Some standard connectivity options that LG OLED TVs have are HDMI, USB, Ethernet, and WiFi, and they also might have Bluetooth. The TV also has built-in streaming apps and support for popular streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video. It has 3 HDMI ports (one is HDMI 2.1 eARC), 2 USB ports, Optical Port; Headphone Jack; Bluetooth 5.0; and Dual Band WiFi.
“Its OLED panel is integrated into a beige, “effortlessly attractive” stand, giving the impression that it is a very expensive whiteboard (although it may not move like one). Beyond its “decor-forward” design, it also features the most recent evo technology from the OEM. It is powered by a cutting-edge “Alpha 9 Gen5 AI Processor” for “better clarity, depth, contrast, and color.”
Picture Quality: LG Pose TV
HDR Brightness
LG LX1 POSE OLED TV 55 Inch has a 120Hz Variable Refresh Rate. Its peak HDR brightness is 1700 nits in a 25% window. However, the sustained brightness in a 100% window is 540 nits.
Panel features
LG LX1 POSE OLED TV 55 Inch is equipped with displaying HDR10 Pro, HLG, and Dolby Vision IQ. Dolby Vision IQ will optimize the picture quality per your room’s lighting. There is no issue with colors or brightness; hence, it is a good feature with Dolby Vision integration.
Grey Uniformity
The grey uniformity test of the LG POSE TV was brilliant (10/10). The greys were highly uniform in 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% & 100% windows. Only an OLED panel can give such uniform greys.
The grey uniformity of the LG Pose TV is superb. You won’t notice the dirty screen effect in the middle during sports matches because the screen is uniform throughout. Near-dark situations include faint vertical lines, just like any OLED, but you won’t see them until you’re very close to the screen.
Contrast and Colors
As per LG, it has an infinite contrast ratio. And as a matter of fact, all OLED panels have an infinite contrast ratio. You get perfect blacks as pixels shut off whenever required. This TV showed the best blacks. LG has used an Alpha9 Gen 5 AI Processor, which gives 100% color fidelity and volume. It means that its color profile is natural. The colors are rich, vibrant, and vivid. They are natural. What does it mean in a real-life scenario?
“For example, when you see a photograph on a TV, what you see are faded colors. But this doesn’t happen in this TV or, in fact, in any OLED TV. In all OLED TVs, colors will appear exactly as they were in the photograph. They are absolutely natural in LG LX1 POSE OLED TV 55 Inch.”
It also comes with the support of Filmmaker mode, Active HDR, and HDR Dynamic Tone Mapping. What is that?
If a scene has dark and bright colors, then tone mapping will adjust the brightness to show the exact colors the filmmaker has tried to deliver. You will see different colors and shadows with no shortcomings whatsoever.
For incredible immersion, Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos combine. Dolby Vision IQ with Precision Detail offers astonishing depth and brings forth delicate textures with LG’s ‘9 Gen 5 AI Processor.
Watch with the original color schemes, frame rates, and aspect ratios while minimizing processing that might tamper with the image. You can enjoy the original form of your favorite movie’s craft with its filmmaker mode.
You can see the minutest details in shadows. Everything will be crystal clear. This TV shows the best colors. It produces such unique colors due to infinite contrast. With infinite contrast, you get natural colors.
Moreover, LG’s declaration of 100% color fidelity and color volume is absolutely true. Many brands in the market declare wide color gamut DCP I3 ratio as 100%, 150%, etc. No matter how luring these numbers seem, in the end, they lead to the oversaturation of red, green, and blue. However, in this LG Pose OLED TV, you get exact colors, i. e. natural colors. The sky looks naturally blue, the leaves appear as green as they are in reality, the color of the sand is not brown, and everything seems just perfect.
You will see details even in dark Dolby Vision scenes, and you will not miss out on anything. Even the bright Dolby Vision scenes look excellent due to Dolby Vision IQ.
OS:
LG POSE TV 55 Inch comes with WEB OS 22 out of the box. It is light and familiar software with pre-downloaded apps. The LG webOS interface makes it easy to use the TV’s functions and navigate across it. During our testing time, the top carousel presented advertisements for Sling and different Freevee movies, but the remainder of the screen was far more helpful.
In the “Trending now” section, just below it were recent inputs and maybe intriguing offerings in movies, TV, and direct advertising. Underneath it is a customizable app bar that makes it simple to install apps, launch a web browser, connect with Amazon’s Alexa, and quickly access all the primary streaming providers.
The Home Dashboard, which compiles your inputs from connected devices like your phone and IoT devices, is linked after that. The LG channels and other carefully picked materials are located underneath that, which you might not care to watch.
It supports Google Assistant, Alexa, and Apple Airplay. Both Android and Apple devices can be easily cast.
Remote Control
The so-called Magic Remote is large, measuring around 7.5 inches long by 2.8 inches broad, and weighs five ounces (with the two AA batteries necessary in place). The number buttons are at the top, followed by the Volume and Channel rockers, the Home, Microphone, Inputs, Back, and Settings controls, which surround the five-way control panel, and finally, the color buttons and dedicated shortcuts for Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, LG Channels, Google Assistant, and Alexa, which are located at the bottom. The remote is well made in these regards.
You can ask it to switch inputs, start programs, and search for content using the built-in microphone, but you can’t adjust other parameters, including the brightness. This remote has a model number that ends in PUA, but if you purchase a model number ending in AUA from Costco, it supports NFC, allowing you to cast material from your phone to the TV by touching it to the remote.
Upscaling
Upscaling SD channels in LG POSE TV 55 Inch was good. Upscaling and colors of HD channels are, however, far better. Color and blacks are just unique.
Upscaling of 720p, 1080p, and 4K content was terrific. AlUpscalingll, the content, be it via USB or set-top box, is perfect.
Viewing Angles
It has the best-of-the viewing angles, even better than an IPS panel. This OLED panel shows no color or brightness loss, even from the extreme sides. The color and brightness from front and center are stunning.
Audio Quality
Its audio quality is good. However, it is not cinematic. It has 40W stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support (Dolby Atmos badging will appear in Dolby Atmos content). LG’s claim of the 7.1.2 virtual audio mix is irrelevant. A soundbar is a must for a cinematic experience.
Perfect Gaming TV
- LG POSE TV 55 Inch model is an ideal gaming TV.
- Any gaming console, be it PS5 or XBOX, can be connected to it as it has two features AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync.
- Its 120 Hz panel with VRR enhances the user’s overall gaming experience.
Warranty and Guarantee
You get a one-year comprehensive warranty on the product and a one-year additional warranty on the Panel, which is a good point on Samsung Crystal Vision 4K Smart TV.
Verdict: LG POSE TV
As per our LG POSE review, this is the best TV as:
1) Excellent TV for Content as well as Gaming. Its upscaling is perfect, which enhances the overall experience of the viewer. Furthermore, a 120 Hz panel and VRR become the most suitable TV for gaming.
2) You get a Cinematic experience all the time as it has Dolby Atmos support.
3) LG POSE TV gives the best Blacks. As a matter of fact, all TVs with infinite contrast give perfect blacks.
4) It produces the most accurate colors as it comes with 100% color fidelity and color volume.
5) Clean Pixels & Logo option.
LG POSE TV IS the best TV for both- gaming and watching regular content. You can watch STB content but with a limit. In fact, we would advise you to avoid OLED TV to watch STB content only. We played a lot of STB content, and till now, we didn’t face any burn-in issues. Burn-in is real, but it happens after a long time when you continuously watch one channel for hours every day.
