Hitachi 1.5 ton 5 star AC has a 5275W motor. It is called 1.5 ton and actually, it is 1.5 ton AC. It comes with an expandable 18000 BTU inverter compressor (which will provide more cooling than rating if needed), and 100% grooved copper condenser coils. Grooved Copper transfers heat more efficiently. It has Superslit fins. Fins are placed very closely to provide good cooling and that’s a fantastic thing. There is a superfine Mesh Filter that provides cool air along with clean air. There is a stepless compressor control and Penta sensor technology- 5 different sensors are placed in indoor and outdoor units that control its efficiency and cooling.  

Its ISEER rating is 4.55 and according to ISEER rating, it consumes 898 units of electricity in a year. Let’s test this claim. It has a 1500W motor which when operated for 6 hours every day for 6 months will consume 1660 units and for 8 hours for 8 months will consume 2955 units at full capacity. Daikin 1.5 ton 5 star AC has a 5000W motor. It is called 1.5 tons but actually, it is 1.42 tons AC. The most famous FKTM50 comes with a 17070 BTU inverter compressor, 100% copper condenser coils and Econo Mode. The compressor will work on the lowest power and consume the least electricity and provide good cooling. Daikin claims stabilizer free operation a special inverter AC stabilizer is still recommended. Daikin has given Coanda airflow which in simple language will provide good cooling in 4 directions. It has Neo Swing technology and Antibacterial coating to prevent coils and fin from sediment and dust.

Its ISEER rating is 4.7 and according to ISEER rating, it consumes 824 units of electricity in a year. Let’s test this claim. It has a 1650W motor which when operated for 6 hours every day for 6 months will consume 1780 units and for 8 hours for 8 months will consume 3170 units at full capacity. If we subtract 25% benefit of inverter AC, then it becomes 1335 units 2380 units of electricity.

 Daikin AC comes with 1 year comprehensive, 1 year extra in the condenser, 4 years on PCB, and 10 years warranty in the compressor. It costs ₹44,000.

Blue Star 1.5 Ton  5 Star- Best AC in India 2021- MEGA COMPARISION

Blue star 1.5 ton 5-star AC that was launched in 2021 has a 5030W motor. It is called 1.5 tons, but actually, it is 1.43 tons AC. It comes with a 17162 BTU inverter compressor and a Brushless DC motor. It has 100% copper condenser coils and self-clean technology. The blower of the indoor unit will dry the water vapors itself once the AC is turned off, and that’s a fantastic thing. There is an automatic 4D swing (air will rotate in 4 directions if you want).  Another good thing is its Anti-corrosive blue fins for protection. A blue color chemical coating is done on fins to protect them from sediment and dust.

On ECO mode, the compressor provides cooling by working at the lowest capacity. On turbo mode, the AC works at full capacity, irrespective of the weather. Last but not the least, you get a self-diagnosis feature. If there will be an error in the indoor unit, then a special code will be mentioned on the display.

• The airflow rate of Blue star AC is 492 CFM, that of Daikin is 544 CFM and Hitachi’s airflow rate is 620 CFM. This is the expandable capacity of Hitachi AC.
